Kuala Lumpur Tower Reopens to Public on 26 April 2025 Under New Management
Kuala Lumpur, 25 April 2025 – Following the official announcement by the Ministry of Communications, Malaysia’s iconic Kuala Lumpur Tower will reopen its doors to the public starting 26 April 2025, now under the stewardship of LSH Service Master Sdn. Bhd. (LSHSM). This reopening signals the start of a new chapter for the 421-metre tower, promising elevated experiences and enhanced visitor offerings.
The appointment of LSHSM as the new operator on 1 April 2025 aligns with the Ministry’s objective of delivering efficient, customer-focused services, backed by continuous improvements in safety, comfort, and accessibility—key factors to boost both domestic and international tourism appeal.
New Names for Familiar Spaces
As part of the rebranding, two prominent venues are reintroduced under new names:
• ORBIT – a refreshed look for the revolving restaurant offering panoramic dining high above the capital, with prices starting from just RM49 for children and RM99 for adults.
• HEMISFERA – a redefined luxury sky hall for high-profile events, meetings, and private functions.
“We are deeply honoured to be entrusted with the stewardship of this national icon,” said Khairil Faizal Hj Othman, Chief Executive Officer of LSHSM.
“As we begin this exciting new chapter, all attractions—including the Sky Deck, Observation Deck, and ORBIT Revolving Dining—will be opened to the public starting tomorrow. Additionally, the HEMISFERA Luxury Sky Hall is ready to welcome new bookings. This reopening marks more than just the continuation of operations—it reflects our commitment to shaping a future-ready Kuala Lumpur Tower that celebrates its legacy while embracing modernisation and innovation.”
During the temporary closure of the tower, LSHSM had been working tirelessly to embark on a series of exciting enhancement for Kuala Lumpur Tower. These exciting changes are designed to ensure that Kuala Lumpur Tower remains at the forefront of global landmarks, offering a modern, engaging, and sustainable experience for all visitors.
"This rebranding is just the beginning—an initial step towards a comprehensive transformation that will be implemented in stages." he added.
