Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad Posts Strong 1HFY2026 Performance with Revenue of RM253.71million, up 24.76% YoY
Kuala Lumpur, Friday, 22 May 2026 – Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad (“LSH Capital” or “the Group”) today announced its financial results for the 2nd quarter of the financial year ending 30th September 2026 (“2QFY2026”). For 2QFY2026, the Group recorded a revenue of RM99.45 million, gross profit (“GP”) of RM47.63 million, and profit after tax (“PAT”) of RM20.52 million.
Robust First Half Growth Anchored by Construction Momentum and Recurring Income from Facilities Management
For the first half of the financial year ending 30th September 2026 (“1HFY2026”), the Group recorded a revenue of RM253.71 million, gross profit (“GP”) of RM97.32 million and profit after tax (“PAT”) of RM49.05 million. Year-on-year (“YoY”), the Group saw a 24.76% increase in revenue, 24.22% increase in GP and 21.80% increase in PAT. The rise in revenue is primarily driven by higher revenue contribution from the construction segment as key construction projects progress into their peak execution phases, and a meaningful contribution from the Group’s expanding facilities management business.
The Group’s construction products sub-segment, particularly building materials, also recorded higher contribution, mainly arising from the supply of red earth to the Tangkak project, which carries a higher profit margin. The facilities management segment continues to strengthen the Group’s recurring income base. For 1HFY2026, the Group’s overall gross profit margin remained stable at 38.36% as compared to 38.52% in the first half of the financial year ended 30 September 2025 (“1HFY2025”).
Current and Expanding Project Pipeline to Reinforce Future Earnings
LSH Segar development is nearing completion at approximately 99%, marking a natural transition as the Group channels its focus towards other current projects, newly secured projects and an expanding pipeline.
The Group continues to grow its pipeline under the BEST Collaboration Framework, recently adding the LSH Bund development in Jalan Pahang (Gross Development Value (“GDV”) of RM500.0 million), a mixed development in Mukim Setapak, Selangor (GDV of RM403.9 million), the Jalan FR03 upgrading works in Kuantan with Knusford Construction Sdn. Bhd.
The Group had also recently been awarded a RM197.90 million letter of offer from Perbadanan Aset Keretapi for land in Daerah Petaling, Selangor. Together, these initiatives reinforce earnings visibility and support the Group's medium-to-long-term growth.
Continued Quarterly Dividend Payout
Reflecting confidence in the Group’s outlook and cash-generating ability, the Group has declared an interim single-tier dividend of 0.75 sen per ordinary share, with entitlement date on 11th June 2026 and payment date on 24th June 2026. This brings total dividends declared in respect of financial year ending 30th September 2026 to-date to 1.78 sen per ordinary share.
Looking ahead, LSH Capital will remain focused on sustaining a healthy project pipeline by actively tendering for new infrastructure, building and concession opportunities, while selectively evaluating strategic landbanks within the Klang Valley and other key growth corridors. As at 31st March 2026, the Group’s outstanding construction and engineering orderbook stood at RM1.24 billion, providing revenue visibility progressively until the financial year ending 30th September 2030, while its total property development GDV pipeline of approximately RM1.68 billion provides additional earnings visibility until 2029.
Commenting on the results, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng, Chairman of LSH Capital, remarked: “Our 1HFY2026 performance reflects the resilience of our business model. The strong year-on-year growth in revenue and profitability was driven by disciplined execution, an improving margin mix, and the meaningful contribution from our facilities management platform. With a healthy orderbook, an expanding GDV pipeline and emerging recurring income streams from landmark national assets, we are well-positioned to continue delivering sustainable value to our shareholders.”
